Six Things Phream Does to Protect Your Privacy

Encrypted Data Storage

All personal and financial data stored by Phream is encrypted using industry-standard protocols. Your information is never stored in plain text or in systems accessible without proper authentication.

We Never Sell Your Data

Phream does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third-party marketers. Your data is used to operate your account and comply with legal requirements — nothing else.

Compliance with Philippine Law

Phream's data practices comply with the Republic Act 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012) and applicable regulations enforced by the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines.

Minimal Data Collection

Phream only collects data that is necessary to operate your account, process transactions, and comply with regulatory requirements. We don't collect information we don't need.

Transparent Communication

If there is ever a data breach that affects your personal information, Phream will notify you and the National Privacy Commission within the timeframe required by Philippine law.

1 Introduction

Phream is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of every player who uses our online betting platform at phream.best ("the Platform"). This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how Phream collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your personal information when you access or use the Platform.

This Policy applies to all Phream users in the Philippines, including registered account holders, visitors browsing the site without an account, and anyone who contacts Phream through any channel. By using the Phream platform, you confirm that you have read and understood this Policy and agree to the data practices described here.

Your data is yours. Phream's position is straightforward: we collect what we need, we use it for the purposes we say, and we don't share it with parties who have no legitimate reason to access it. That's the short version. The full details are below.

This Privacy Policy should be read alongside the Phream Terms and Conditions and Responsible Gaming Policy, which together form the complete agreement between you and Phream.

4 How We Use Your Data

Phream uses the personal data we collect for the following purposes:

Account Management and Platform Operation

The primary use of your data is to operate your Phream account — registering you as a player, verifying your identity, processing your bets, handling deposits and withdrawals, and providing customer support. Without this data, we simply cannot run your account.

Regulatory Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering

As a gaming platform operating in the Philippines, Phream is subject to anti-money laundering (AML) obligations and know-your-customer (KYC) requirements. We use identity and transaction data to fulfil these obligations, which may include reporting certain activity to Philippine regulatory authorities.

Security and Fraud Prevention

Phream uses technical and behavioural data to detect unusual account activity, prevent unauthorised access, identify potential fraud, and protect the integrity of the betting platform. This includes monitoring for duplicate accounts, suspicious betting patterns, and payment irregularities.

Platform Improvement

Anonymised and aggregated usage data helps us understand how players interact with Phream so we can improve the experience — whether that's making navigation clearer, adding new betting markets, or improving load times on mobile. This analysis does not identify individual players.

Service Communications

Phream sends transactional communications related to your account — including deposit confirmations, withdrawal notifications, and important updates to our Terms or Privacy Policy. These are not marketing messages and are sent regardless of your communication preferences because they are necessary to operate your account.

Promotions and Marketing

With your consent, Phream may send you information about current promotions, new betting markets, and platform updates. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by updating your account preferences or contacting support.

5 Legal Basis for Processing

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, Phream must have a lawful basis for processing your personal data. The bases we rely on are:

  • Contractual necessity: Processing required to deliver the services you signed up for — account management, bet processing, payouts.
  • Legal obligation: Processing required to comply with Philippine regulations — KYC, AML reporting, age verification.
  • Legitimate interests: Processing for fraud prevention, security monitoring, and platform improvement where these interests do not override your rights.
  • Consent: For optional processing such as marketing communications. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Where Phream relies on your consent to process data for a specific purpose, you always have the right to withdraw that consent. Withdrawing consent will not affect any processing already carried out before withdrawal.

6 Data Sharing and Third Parties

Phream does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third-party marketers. However, in order to operate the platform and meet regulatory requirements, we do share data with a limited set of trusted parties in specific circumstances.

Service Providers

Phream works with third-party service providers who assist in delivering the platform — including payment processors, identity verification services, cloud infrastructure providers, and fraud detection systems. These providers access personal data only to the extent necessary to perform their services and are contractually required to handle it in accordance with applicable privacy law.

Payment Partners

When you make a deposit or withdrawal, relevant financial data is shared with your chosen payment provider — GCash, Maya, GrabPay, Coins.ph, or your bank — to process the transaction. Phream does not store full card numbers or mobile wallet PINs.

Regulatory and Law Enforcement Authorities

Phream may be required to disclose personal data to Philippine regulatory authorities, law enforcement agencies, or courts in response to a lawful request or legal obligation. This includes the National Privacy Commission, the relevant gaming regulatory body, and the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) where applicable.

Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or restructuring of Phream's business, your personal data may be transferred to the acquiring party. You will be notified of any such transfer that materially affects how your data is processed.

What Phream does not do: We do not share your betting history, account details, or personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for commercial purposes unrelated to operating your Phream account.

7 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Phream uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your login session, remember your preferences, and improve platform performance. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website.

Types of Cookies We Use

  • Essential cookies: Required for the platform to function. These include session cookies that keep you logged in. You cannot opt out of these without losing access to the platform.
  • Performance cookies: Collect anonymised data about how the Platform is used — which pages are visited most, where users encounter issues — so we can improve the experience.
  • Functional cookies: Remember preferences you've set, such as display settings or language preferences.
  • Security cookies: Help detect and prevent fraudulent login attempts and protect account integrity.

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling non-essential cookies will not prevent you from using Phream, though some features may not function as smoothly.

8 Data Security

Phream takes the security of your personal and financial data seriously. We implement technical and organisational security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

These measures include:

  • SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your device and Phream's servers
  • Encryption of sensitive data at rest, including payment information and identity documents
  • Access controls limiting which Phream team members can access personal data, based on their role and need-to-know
  • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments of the platform
  • Two-factor authentication available for player accounts
  • Monitoring systems that detect and alert on unusual access patterns

While Phream takes all reasonable steps to protect your data, no internet-based system is entirely immune from security risks. You also have a responsibility to protect your own account by using a strong, unique password and not sharing your login credentials with anyone.

Data Breach Notification: If a security incident occurs that affects your personal data, Phream will notify affected players and the National Privacy Commission within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, in line with Philippine law.

9 Data Retention

Phream retains your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by applicable Philippine law and regulations.

Key retention periods at Phream include:

  • Active account data: Retained for the lifetime of your Phream account plus a minimum of five years after account closure, in line with AML record-keeping requirements.
  • Transaction records: Retained for a minimum of five years from the date of the transaction, as required by financial regulations.
  • Identity verification documents: Retained for five years after the relationship with Phream ends, or longer if required by a specific regulatory obligation.
  • Customer support communications: Retained for three years from the date of the interaction.
  • Marketing consent records: Retained for three years from the date of last interaction or until consent is withdrawn, whichever is earlier.

When data is no longer required, Phream securely deletes or anonymises it so that it can no longer be attributed to an individual player.

10 Your Privacy Rights

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have specific rights in relation to your personal data held by Phream. These rights are real and enforceable — here's what they mean in practice.

Right to Access

You can request a copy of the personal data Phream holds about you. We will provide this within 30 days of a verified request.

Right to Rectification

If your personal data is inaccurate or incomplete, you can ask Phream to correct it. You can update most information directly in your account settings.

Right to Erasure

You can request deletion of your personal data where it is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected, subject to legal retention obligations.

Right to Object

You can object to Phream processing your data for direct marketing purposes at any time. We will stop processing for that purpose upon receipt of your objection.

Right to Data Portability

You can request your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format so that you can transfer it to another service.

Right to Complain

If you believe Phream has mishandled your data, you can file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines.

To exercise any of these rights, contact Phream at support@phream.best. We will verify your identity before processing any data request and respond within 30 days.

11 Children's Privacy

Phream's platform is strictly for users who are 21 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 21. If we discover that a person under 21 has registered an account on Phream, we will immediately close the account, delete the associated personal data, and return any deposited funds in accordance with our Responsible Gaming Policy.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child may have accessed or registered on Phream, please contact us immediately at support@phream.best so we can take prompt action.

12 Third-Party Links

The Phream platform does not contain links to external third-party websites as part of its standard navigation. However, content such as payment provider pages may redirect you outside phream.best during a transaction. Phream is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites or services that you access during these interactions.

When you are redirected to a third-party site — for example, the GCash or Maya payment page — you should review that provider's privacy policy before submitting any personal information.

13 Updates to This Policy

Phream reviews and updates this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or platform features. When material changes are made — particularly those that affect your rights or how we use your data — we will notify registered Phream players by email or through a platform notice at least 7 days before the changes take effect.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the Policy was most recently revised. Continued use of the Phream platform after a Policy update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

We recommend reviewing this page periodically to stay informed about how Phream protects your personal data. If you have questions about any changes, contact us at support@phream.best.

14 Contact Us

If you have any questions, concerns, or requests related to this Privacy Policy or Phream's handling of your personal data, please reach out to us through any of the following channels:

Phream's data privacy team will acknowledge your inquiry promptly and respond with a full resolution within 30 days. For formal complaints relating to data privacy, you may also approach the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines directly.

We take every privacy inquiry seriously. If something about how we handle your data doesn't feel right, tell us — we'd rather fix it than have a player feel their information isn't being treated with respect.
